Life has been a whirlwind of work and sleep (and not much else) at the moment, which means that I've been sorely remiss on updating often.
But in news that has absolutely nothing to do with anything else I'm doing, I picked up the Fruits Basket fanbook last week! And it is verily awesome indeed. Fanbooks in general tend to be most enjoyable if you're hung up on details (like knowing exactly where someone's foot was positioned in one panel during volume two), but the Furuba fanbook is a treasure trove of delights for people who really love the background world and characters. Like me, for example.
Best of all, there are omake in the back. OMAKE. I don't know if they've been scanlated on the net or not, but I decided to type up some of them and share them here. Like I told Ari, I kept all of the exclamation marks to preserve the original...uh, flavor.

bell and I are rereading the Furuba manga with clearer eyes -- writing down our impressions as we go through each volume again and scrutinize its content, talking about new things we may have noticed this time around. We alternate posts between each volume, and reply back to keep the discussion going. If anyone has any thoughts they'd like to add, feel free to weigh in at any time!
