reached our destination
Jul. 29th, 2009 01:28 amOkay, I've reached Japan! I'm at the Kishutetsudo Hotel in Osaka, it's 1:29 in the morning, we've been traveling for more than nineteen hours, and I am excited and overwhelmed and also just about on the verge of passing out.
That is to say, while I may have internet access during my trip, it'll also be fairly sporadic. And unfortunately, there probably won't be frequent updates. But I will keep track of what's going on, type up the journal entries I'm writing if I get half a chance, and take lots of pictures.
Tomorrow's an early day, though, so I'm going to finish this entry off here and expand on everything later when the opportunity arises. Thus, in closing! The only pertinent comment I have left to add is that, yes, there really are that many vending machines both in and out of the airport terminals.
